For nearly 20 years, the International Dance Academy has been recognized as the most prestigious educational dance center in the area.
With a philosophy based on the classical ballet training of the Royal Academy of Dance, the most highly regarded training and examining body for classical ballet, the International Dance Academy is the only ballet academy in South Florida to offer this exclusive program. The emphasis is on strong technique, which allows for greater artistic freedom.
The International Dance Academy stresses the importance of strength in body, mind, and character. The disciplined environment meets the full spectrum of needs for novice dancers to ballerinas training for professional opportunities. This is evident in the studio’s annual full-length production of The Nutcracker, as well as an annual theatrical show each spring such as Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty or Snow White.
Believing that classical ballet provides the foundation for all other dance forms, International Dance Academy is pleased to offer a variety of dance classes from classical ballet, pointe and repertoire to jazz and modern dance.
