Weston Regional Park
Weston boasts a variety of parks, from serene passive areas to expansive athletic complexes, catering to every preference for outdoor activities. Among these, Weston Regional Park stands out as the most comprehensive and beloved, spanning 102 acres. This park is highlighted by the Weston Community Center and the Weston YMCA Family Center, making it a hub of activity for residents.
The park is equipped with an impressive range of sports facilities. Visitors can enjoy eight baseball/softball fields, eight football/soccer fields, eight basketball courts, three roller hockey rinks, four multi-purpose artificial turf courts, and four sand volleyball courts. For those looking to keep fit outdoors, there is an 8,000 linear feet exercise trail.
Weston Regional Park also features two shaded playgrounds, ideal for families, and three picnic shelters complete with tables and grills, which are available for rent. Additionally, there are five concession stands with restroom facilities. The park’s Event Stage is a focal point for free community events, including the Weston World Fest, Moonlight Movies in the Park, and the WestonNights Outdoor Concert Series. Each year, the park also hosts the much-anticipated Royal Egg Hunt, making it a year-round destination for community engagement and recreation.
