International Dance Academy
Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the International Dance Academy (IDA) in Florida stands as the premier institution for Classical Ballet training in the community. The academy offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes Classical Ballet, Pointe, Repertoire, Jazz, and Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT).
IDA boasts a distinguished international faculty, each member holding dance degrees and professional experience from esteemed institutions such as the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and American Ballet Theater (ABT), ensuring top-tier education and certification.
The academy operates out of a 5,500-square-foot state-of-the-art facility, equipped with three studios featuring sprung flooring, full-length mirrors, and air conditioning, all located in a secure and serene setting. IDA is closely affiliated with the International Ballet Company (IBC), a non-profit youth organization. This partnership allows dancers from beginner to pre-professional levels to apply their classical ballet techniques learned in class to professional stage performances.
IDA’s annual performance calendar highlights include “The Nutcracker,” offering five enchanting performances, and a spring show themed “Fairy Tale Classics.” These productions showcase breathtaking costumes, magical special effects, and captivating choreography, providing dancers with a truly spectacular theatrical experience.
